Sound properties of the venue, instruments on stage, new mixer/effectsettings every night, different monitor preferences, sudden technical problems on stage- off stage or even in the power grid, and a lot of other factors which differs from the studio environment. And this is exactly what makes it so exiting to work in live situations. Here we need the abillity to keep cool when all hell breaks lose, and here we need extensive knowledge on how to handle all the critical variables.
